We see our outdoor space as an extension of our home.
As a matter of fact, I believe that we spend more time in our backyard during the summer than any other area in our home.
We play out there, we eat many of our meals out there, we entertain out there... we even watch movies and Rockies games on our garden movie screen. Our yard is full of love and memories.
Unfortunately we know that this is not how many people feel about their outdoor space. Many people are frustrated with it, embarrassed by it and quickly close the drapes when they see what a mess it all is. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY! XERISCAPE
We live in a climate that is considered a high desert. Change up your landscape for lower water consumption by removing grass and installing waterwise and pollinator friendly plants. This is also a great option for customers with dogs who love to run and play but have unfortunately worn out the lawn and left you with a muddy mess.

How wonderful is it to have a blank slate!? We personally love working with a blank slate because the possibilities are endless, but we know that it can overwhelm customers because there is just so much to do. We love designing beautiful, functional landscapes and keeping the process straightforward and simple so our customers can enjoy the process and the results.
AERATION
due to Colorado's high desert climate, grass can struggle because of shallow roots, lack of nutrients and compacted and dehydrated soil. Each spring, we recommend having your grass areas aerated to help open up the soil to allow air, nutrients and water in while also allowing the grass roots to grow in deeper. The aeration holes will fill back in and the plugs will also break down after some time
